The Lugano Blues To Bop Festival is over for this year. On a personal note, I experienced the most positive, appreciative & impressive audiences I’ve seen in a long time! The exchange was such that the lip of the stage disappeared, and we were all united as one… beautiful! Once again, our European music-lovers have set the gold standard.
Background: The New York All-Stars “took the show on the road”, performing 3 shows over 3 days at this FAB Fête, August 25th through 27th. I intend to write a bit more on this as time permits, and share a few experiences and maybe a few photos and sound/video clips.
And speaking of live/en vivo, I am planning a series of duet concerts in the U.K. I’ve asked long-time friend, collaborator (and killer guitarist) Jerry Crozier-Cole to join me as we perform selections from HeartStrings as well as newer …and older tonal surprises.
